The co-op is also a place to get to know your neighbors and community, and learn more about your food. You will find locally-grown produce, Michigan beer and wines, Fair Trade coffees, and Artisan breads and pastries baked in our wood-fired brick oven. Friends, members, and shoppers are cordially invited to join us at the Ladies' Literary Club on Thursday, May 24 at 6pm for the annual General Membership Meeting.
Each year, the members of the Ypsi Food Coop gather to elect a new Board of Directors, share a meal, and hear news of the progress of our store and all our outreach projects, including Solar Ypsi, the Local Honey Project, the Farmers Markets, etc. We talk about the future of the store, give feedback, and discuss about plans. This year, we will hear an update on the expansion -- what's been accomplished and what's still to come.
Suggested donation: please bring a dish to pass (or, if unable, a $5 donation).
