At the Ypsilanti Food Coop - Where to look:

• The Bread Shelf - All of the River Street Bakery breads can be found here.  In addition, YFC often carries Rudi's organic breads, Ezekiel sprouted grain breads, Jerusalem pitas, Rustic Crust pizza crusts, a variety of buns and English muffins, some gluten-free breads from Udi's, KnickKnick and Food for Life, and Barry's Bagels. Check the freezer for some of these items.

• The Sweets Shelf - Located next to the bread shelf, the sweets shelf is where the pastry chefs at River Street Bakery display their delectable cookies, cupcakes, muffins, brownies, scones, and more.  Here is just a sampling of what was available on a recent Saturday: Pumpkin scones, fruit and nut bars, pumpkin muffins, gingersnap cookies, frosted lemon yogurt cake, streusel-filled coffee cake, fudgy brownies, lemon bars, apricot almond bread, vegan carrot cake cookies, and honey lavender cupcakes.

• The Pie Rack - To the right of the checkout counter, you'll see a three-tiered wire rack with a few pies on it.  Why just a few?  Rather than bake dozens of pies and leave them on the shelf for weeks, we prefer to bake fresh pies pies a few at a time to ensure that you get them while they're still delicious.

• The Freezer - In the freezer, you'll find pie crusts from our pastry chefs, and pizza dough made by our very own bakers!  You can take home a little taste of the River Street Bakery and add our artistry to yours!

Depot Town Farmers' Market - Saturdays from 8AM - 1PM at the Market Plaza by the Historic Freight House in Depot Town (May through October)

Winter Farmers' Market - Tuesdays from 3-7PM at the Corner Brewery, 720 Norris Street, Ypsilanti (November and December only)
