At the Ypsi Food Co-op, our Health, Beauty, and Wellness department is thoughtfully curated to support your well-being. Beer & Wine
We’re proud to offer a thoughtfully curated selection of beer and wine, with plenty of options made right here in Michigan—including Arbor Brewing Company beers & Michigan Awesome wines. We also carry a selection of gluten-free brews & NA options, so everyone can raise a glass. Our wine shelves feature bottles made from organically grown grapes, with a variety of styles and price points to match any mood or meal.
Bulk
Our bulk section is all about saving you money, cutting down on waste, and giving you the freedom to buy exactly what you need. It’s a great way to stock up on pantry staples without breaking the bank (or the planet). We’ve got everything from nuts and seeds to granola, beans, flours, dried fruits, meal mixes, and more. Bring your own containers or use our provided bags—it’s up to you!

From the creamiest Brie to the boldest blue, the YFC Cheese Department is a true celebration of all things cheese! Our selection includes a wide variety of cow, goat, and sheep’s milk cheeses—from rich and spreadable Camembert to sharp, aged Parmigiano-Reggiano. Need a little guidance? From locally sourced dairy products to local honey and maple syrup, our grocery shelves are stocked with everything you need. As a full-service grocery store, we’ve got the essentials for everyday meals, plus specialty items, like a wide range of baking flours (including gluten free) and a diverse selection of global foods. You’ll also find locally raised eggs from nearby farms, chips, a variety of teas, and cereals to pair with your favorite dairy-free milk.
Bakery
At the Co-op Bakery, we blend old tradition with modern sustainability. Our wood-fired bread is baked without gas, and 30 rooftop solar panels power every part of our kitchen. With 100% solar-powered equipment, we’re reducing our impact—and bringing you more bread value for your dough.
Deli
Our Deli is proud to offer a variety of made-from-scratch dishes, crafted with organic, locally sourced, and Fair Trade ingredients whenever possible. From hearty breakfast grab & go options to our hot bar, we’re here to help you fuel your day from morning to night.
Produce
Good food starts at the roots—literally! That’s why we’re committed to sourcing fresh, organic, and sustainably grown produce, with a strong emphasis on supporting local farmers. During Michigan’s peak growing season (June through October), our shelves are filled with a vibrant array of locally grown fruits and vegetables. And even in the winter months, you’ll still find local potatoes, carrots, and other hardy root vegetables!
